Peyton Manning at Becker Buick GMC?

Well, not really.  We do have a lifesize cardboard version of Peyton Manning in our showroom, everyone is having fun getting their picture taken with him.  Have you seen the Buick commercials yet?

NFL quarterback Peyton Manning will star in a new television spot for the Buick Verano compact luxury sedan.

In addition to promoting the Verano, which is Buick’s first compact car in many years, the ad is part of a long-term strategy to give Buick — once a brand for senior citizens — a more youthful image.
In the spot, which debuts tonight during the ESPY awards on ESPN, Manning uses his play-calling skills to operate the car’s voice-activated controls and turn-by-turn navigation system.

“It’s definitely easier to call audibles in the Verano as opposed to the line of scrimmage,” Manning said. “After I call audibles in the Verano, I don’t get hit in the back.”

With this 30-second ad, Manning joins a lineup that includes model Marisa Miller, actor Ving Rhames, and basketball star Shaquille O’Neal in a series of Buick commercials. The spots use each celebrity’s lifestyle to highlight its vehicles’ features.
